This might be a stupid question but i searched and couldn't find it here... Can you innoculate jars and have them grow to full mycellium and then put them in the fridge for acouple months before u want to case them, This would increase the speed i could grow since i can only grow so many jars at one time

yes....you can do this but a recomendation on storage in the fridge, make sure that the jars are in a container like tupperware or rubbermaid, preferably something that light will not get through, the reason...the fridge is probably the dirtiest place in your kitchen, most have an infrequent cleaning and in case you havent noticed some molds like the cold....

You can make mycellium syringes and they last for 6 months up in the syringe :cool:.

there are also other methods that will allow you to store a culture for several years....look up culture slants here and on google... the jars should keep several months as long as they arent allowed to dry out....not much of an issue in the fridge and in a container.... but you should avoid over production, many problems can crop up from it..... one method to avoid it is to do smaller batches and stagger the schedule by 2 or 3 weeks.... by the time you finish a fruiting cycle you'll be ready to start fruiting again....
