Klonopin.. uh ohs..

Background info: For the past 2 weeks or more I've been having these problems...
*Trouble reading ( changing words, letters etc... **NOT DYSLEXIC** ) *Trouble talking ( Meh, mo, Me and and and har here, her!" *Memory loss ( can you get the milk, okay, did you get the milk, oh..no )
Okay, so what's happening now.
My Dr said I could take up to 4mg of Klonopin, but I've been taking 2 during the day, with no side-effects.
Well, today ( just now actually ) I took 3mg, to get a feel for it, see if I can function etc. Now, it's kicked in, and I'm expirencing this --
*Confusion *Memory loss *Disorganzation of thoughts
and it also feels like.. "I'm not here" like in my body. I feel seperated.
But what's troubling me the most is the confusion. For a breif second I'll forget who I am, or where I am. I'll look around the apartment and I'm not sure exactly where I am.
I'm just wondering if this is normal side-effect from the Klono ( In higher doses )
I don't want to bring it up to my dr, cause he'll probably take me off it. I love it, it helps me. But I'm concered with the ( above ) problems too.
I think I'm slipping.
Anyone can offer me some advice, or related?
Or maybe a webpage that dives into those symptoms?
Thanks shroomery members.

Tell ur doctor that those mg are to high and really the memory loss imo happens no matter how low the mg and if ur taking them everyday then its even worse.
Are u taking them for panic attacks or just feeling anxious around ppl?

Benzos steal your soul, man.
do NOT abuse them.
I got a scrip of those unscrupulously and took recreationally.
ruined my fucking life, still feeling the repercussions from that 1 week binge about a year and a half later.

I take them for Both. If I know a panic attack is going to happen ( like if I go into a busy mall, I take a few to prevent it )
If I'm having a full blown panic attack, I pop 2, and in about 10 minutes later I'm calm.
If I'm around random people I don't know, I usually take 2mg to stay calm, and in control.
Tonight, I just took the 3 to "Test the waters" see how I'd function etc.
But really, I just went outside and I looked around, and I didn't know where I was. If the Klono wasn't in me, I'm sure I would have had a panic attack, but on the flip side, if this MUCH wasn't in me, I wouldn't be in this situation anyway.
He wants me up to 4. I think I'm gonna tell him 4 is too much.

4 is way too much if you have sufficient effects at 2 and 3 makes you feel bad. the doctor isnt ALWAYS right.
especially if you're a student, klonopin will literally make functioning impossible.
Driving, dangerous.
Drinking, dangerous.
Interacting with people, too much of this shit they'll literally think you are insane.
Im' tellin you man benzos are bad news...
keep your dose as low and infrequent as possible.
If you find yourself taking it every day, there are other medications you can use.

He said
"2mg in the afternoon with lunch" ( since I usually go out / if I go out / around noon time ) and 2mg at night" Or "If you are having a bad day, lots of anxiety, just take the 4 at once, that will most likely last through-out the day."

and into the next day
clonazepam has one of the longest half-lives of any of the benzos

Ok well if u don't like the feeling u should take less for sure and try to only take em when ur having an attack, cuz they are really addictive and they do have withdraw symptoms an u can die from the withdraw from those. I don't understand why he wants u at such a high dose cuz it doesn't sound like u've been taking them very long or that u need more than one if u even need that.
They can really fuck ur life up like the guy after me said so be careful and I'd tell ur dr what u've been feeling.

I think u need a new dr. Thats way to much just for some social anxiety.
The half life is ridiculous and so if u are taking them every day ur just gonna be fucked up all the time and barely able to function. Ultimately u won't have to worry bout social anxiety cuz ur friends won't want to deal with u anymore ppl fucked up off benzos can be like dealing with little children

a Half life is basically a way of measuring how fast the chemical is broken down in your body. the half life of clonazepam is 18 hours, which means 18 hours later, the substance has lost half of its pharmacological activity

I did, and 1mg wasn't touching me. 2 is perfect, but he insisted on a higher dose. He said if this didn't work, we'd switch to valium
