200lbs at a dollar a pound to 200 suckers=200 bucks. ;Not bad if your like me and dont give a shit about ebay and could set up an account to ring ya 200 easy.(not that i would, i just dont care about ebay or my account)

ok, i didn't say this was definitely a scam. it is potentially a great deal, depending on shipping charges, if this is totally legit.
it just seems a little odd that someone would start an auction on ebay, then sign up here just to get people to go and bid on the auction. there is a lot of scamming that goes on here. this place seems to attract people who sign up just to scam the people that visit this site.
he would not get just $1 out of this deal either. take a look at the auction and find out the details, before posting about it.
he has 200 pounds at $1 per pound. that is $200 right there. then you add in the shipping amount which could be $20 per pound or whatever he wants to charge.
let's just say shipping is only $10 per pound. for 200 pounds that gets him a grand total of $2200 for this auction if he sells all 200 pounds. what if he just disappears with all that money and nobody gets anything? will he get in trouble? i doubt it.
i bought a few posters on ebay a while back and paid about $25 for them. 8 months later, i still have no posters and i still don't have my money back. ebay says they can't do anything about it and i get no response to the emails i have sent the seller either. i have gotten emails from other people saying that this seller ripped them off too. the seller no longer has that ebay account, but he ripped off many people on his way out and all ebay did was close the account. this was a seller that had 2000+ positive ratings. he probably just signed up again on ebay with a new account name. this is not the only time i have paid for something on ebay and not gotten it (or my money back), just the biggest loss of money. i have a few friends that have had similar experiences with ebay.
conclusion: yes, you can lose your money buying things on ebay fairly easily. will ebay get your money back for you? no.

Yea you can definately get scammed on ebay............ They only get involved with the 'high rollers'...people who get scammed for expensive art, watches, etc...
even if then.....
This pedro thing does sound like a scam

Good to know that torch on ebay from 3 years ago is bunk..
The owner of devinecacti is on ebay(cactusheaven) and he is awsome.. So dont knock everything on ebay till you try it all..
