Possible Datura patch (ID)..????

EDIT: Feel free to move thread if this isn't the correct forum.
I have no desire to try it (I think), but I found a whole shitload of plants. I was wondering if anybody can ID them (for educational purposes) for me. And while were on topic, has anybody tried it? Photos taken in Northern Illinois. Pics can be blown up huge for fine detail in bottom right corner of expanded pic (for the noobs)

Probably would have been better to post this in the ethnobotanical garden, but it looks like datura to me. I suggest turning the other way, and keep walking. Not a drug I would want to try again. It can also kill you, in more ways than one.

I remember seeing a 20/20 documentary on it in like 1997 or so. Even then, it sounded awful...and dangerous.
Ive never stumbled upon this before, so I figured I'd consult the Shroomery experts on this one.
I was thinking of a giveaway, but that has 'Bad News Bears' written all over it.
I should have put this in EG (mod?)

This thread was moved from Other Drugs Discussion.
Reason: This is a better location for plant ID.

I wasn't sure how many thorny seed pod plants there were. I did refer there, but wasn't convinced. Plus, I kinda wanted to share my find.

Everything I've read about this is bad, can last days and apparently not pleasant and its very common to end up in hospital due to injuries, also you completely lose the ability to differentiate between hallucinations and reality. Not advisable

^^^This, but don't breathe in any of the fumes. At the very least, give it a very wide berth. I smoked some of that shit accidentally once - worst physical experience of my life, top 10 worst overall. That plant does not like people.

Yes that is Datura, and NO, you do not want to try it.
Jimson weed and other Nightshades are common orchard-weeds around here.
Deer wont even touch them, that should tell you something.
