 the nature of coincidence

do you ever notice really strange coincidences, so strange that they can only be explained as phenomenon?
in my life, I have so many bizzare coincidences happening all the time.....and to me they seem like signifiers as to which path in life I should take.....now maybe they would happen no matter what, in any context...
or maybe they can be explained through Jung's synchronicity theory.....
or maybe I am delusional and I assign these coincidences importance because I want to rationalize my existence....and choices..
but they seem to be a little too complex.
the most recent coincidence I experienced went like this (i will spare you the fleshy details)
I was reading a very interesting book that dealt with some cool things that happen in life, things that not everyone experiences (non-universal).
after I finished the book, a very similar thing happened in my life, which happened to the main character in the book.
and.....this coincidence figures into a larger motif that all of my amazing coincidences can be catergorized under, meaning: they all point me in the same direction.

okay well,
the book i read deals with how in relationships, just by existing you can ruin someones life without even knowing it.
and basically, there was this girl I knew for a short period of time, and then we no longer met each other, and the night before she went back to japan, she left a message on my phone, crying, telling me that she loved me and thanking me.
and this perfectly fit into the theme of the book I had finished reading earlier that day, and fits into the broader theme of coincidence in my life related to my adventures in japan.
heres another coincidence. i was living in calgary the summer before i went to japan, and i was into graffiti, so i remembered the names of a few grafiti writers. one of the writers has only writen in calgary and nowhere else...or at least i thought.
so i get to japan and im staying in a remote place that NOBODY goes to, and on my daily walk from my hotel to my girlfriends house I see a small tag on a brick wall- the exact same tag from calgary.
nowhere else had this guy tagged, not in osaka and not in tokyo...i checked it out....so that shit spooked me. it was like a sign saying "your going the right direction", but maybe....like i said earlier...its all in my head.

It's hard to say for sure from this limited, subjective human perception. But I would say it's main contrivers are soul interactions/karma, cosmic humor/irony, and the spirit world in constant intermingling and connection, spilling over into physical reality creating what we perceive as "coincidences".. with little more conscious information to fully understand them.
