Virginia mushroom hunt identification

hello everybody, I'm looking for some help in identifying a few mushrooms I found today while hunting in fields in Richmond, Virginia. I found several clusters,near a lake where I frequently hunt, of what I suspect to be ovoids.

they have a creamy white cap, a solid white smooth stipe,uniformly brown gills, and a powerful starchy scent.

any help or suggestions is appreciated, thanks!

I don't think that anyone on here could ever distance themselves from any type of mushroom

I hate how when I talk about mushrooms to people they immediately think I am focused on hallucingenic, but I suppose it is difficult with a completely ignorant population
