I found these in some dark soil above a creek bed in Northern California. They are very small, caps=.5cm-1.5cm No spore print as of yet, I must have let them dry too long. They were clustered in groups of 2 or 3. Some caps have not opened yet. If it is possible that they are active then I will return to the spot I found them and hunt for more to make spore prints of. I only took a handfull, but there were a good amount above the creek bed.

That is a horrible photo and the shrooms cannot be id'ed.
They are not psuilocybes and appraently are not psychoactive.
I cleaned the photo a little in photoshop. here is another view of it with more clarity but it is not good for id.

Shit small shrooms can be more potent than larger ones at times, espceially Cope cyans and Psilocybe cyanescens babies witll fry one.
Here is a picture oof the above shrooms I fixed a little.

Well thanks MJ, you didn't have to go to all that trouble, I was going to go back some time and get better info and pics, but if you say they aren't magic then I believe you. They are very small too, but the ground was covered with them so I could have gotten a few grams atleast.
