Sinicuichi and spider mites problem....

Hi..
My sinicuichi plants always get infested by spider mites, and the leaves get all brown/purple.. so I use soap and water ina spray to get rid of them, but all the leaves die of, and have to regrow.. If I put less soap, the mites don't die... I tried to keep my room as clean as possible (but it's hard !!), and the siper mites kept on coming back... here, in the morning, it's still chilly, about 5?C, so I ^put my plants outside hoping the mites would die with those conditions, BUT THEY ARE STILL THERE. I just hate them so much. How can I get rid of them PLEASE!!!

don't put so much soap in as to burn the plants, and before you add soap steep some cigarettes in the water, then give them a good spray i bet that'll get rid of them

Nicotine is a pretty damn good poison.

Watch out with tobacco!!! You can give your plants tobacco mosaic disease!

The plant disease caused by tobacco mosaic virus is found worldwide. The virus is known to infect more than 150 types of herbaceous, dicotyledonous plants including many vegetables, flowers, and weeds. Infection by tobacco mosaic virus causes serious losses on several crops including tomatoes, peppers, and many ornamentals. Tobacco mosaic virus is one of the most common causes of virus diseases of plants in Minnesota.

I don't know if the virus would affect your plant, but if the tobbacco you have is infected with it, it could cause you grief!!!

I've done this several times and have yet to get the disease. Any many others reccomend the same trick. I don't think it's a problem or that big of a risk. Perhaps if you used homegrown or wild found tobacco, but tobacco grown for cigarettes are well taken care of. It's not as great of a risk as most people think.
