Is it possible to exaust your passion?

Ever get the feeling that you have done everything you can do with a subject or your passion eventhough you know its not true?
I have that feeling right now on several things like philosophy and psychedelics. Its like things have stalled for me right now but in the back of my head I know that there is so much more to it and I cant possibly have done everything in those subjects. What can I do besides taking drugs?

Take time off and involve yourself in other passions.
I fucking LOVE spaghetti, but it I had it every night, I'd kill myself. I take time off spaghetti and remember I LOVE pizza and oranges and soup and all the other good food.
You can have more than one passion

Being passionate can be exhausting. When it becomes that way, take a step back and take a different approach.
Life is full of endless opportunities. There are a billion different ways to do any one thing.
Enjoy a different aspect of life and then come back to the puzzle when you feel the hunger for it cone back.
Best of luck.

"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded." -Abraham Lincoln

No because passion is not a resource but a state of mind.

I recommend not being so 'mainstream' with your passions. Look at different ways to create, use, distribute them as there is always room for improvements in most industries. I do agree that you need to set yourself back from your passions every once in a while do to overload issues.

No because passion is not a resource but a state of mind.
Which is a function of your neurochemical balance. And chemicals are a resource so passion is progressively being exhausted.
Anything that I've been passionate about throughout my life seemed more interesting when I first got into it.
Mushrooms, weed, skateboarding, biology, fapping...everything.
So yeah it fades with time.
Diversification is the key to passion maintenance
