Burnt rice powder?

I just finished pressure cooking a few jars last night for the standard amount of time necessary... Today, when I removed them, I noticed the outside layer of rice clumps have taken on a slight tan to brown coloring... almost like it got cooked by the hot glass. It appears to have only affected the rice that is just touching the sides of the jar. Can I get a professional opinion if these jars would be okay for inoculation?
