MUTATIONS GALORE!

Ok, here are some pics of these muties, finally, in reference to this post: this post
Close view of mutie-land. Note that the white stem immediately to the right of the center of the picture is the base of a stem which is hovering in midair and attaches by its cap to another cap which goes into the casing at a relatively normal angle. Almost all of what you see are mushrooms standing on their heads or just being weird white blobs and tentacles.
Overview of the Myco-Chernobyl
Big lumpy fungoid masses. About as big as a half-dollar US.
Any ideas why all of these babies are being so freaky?
They're Koh Samui grown on WBS with 60/40 Verm/Coco casing, first flush. 2 casings done in these 8x8" pans, while 3 seperate casings in 8x4" pans are pinning normally as far as we can imagine.
These incredibly realistic CGI simulations were produced using the finest in 3-D rendering technology.

The same happened to AFOAF with cakes, Pes-h strain. The first flush produced those strange mutations, some were very big. After the first flush, he scraped the cakes and dunked them 24 h. Then the next generation were perfect mushrooms.
The trip with those mutations was completely different than normal mushies, and this friend said it was in some points similar to K. (lost of time-sense, and strange feelings)

Oh we're not prejudiced against them ;-)
Some lysol might have gotten on them - think that did it?

Wow - it's amazing how such small factors can lead to such huge results, since ~if~ any Lysol got on them, it was a very small, indirect amount.

I'm re-awakening this thread, since I was about to post asking whether people noticed any strange mutations in Koh Samui (Classic) from Ryche Hawk... my friend hasn't seen anything as drastic above, but here in her first flush she's seen that a few of the caps seem to peel away on one side, exposing the gills a bit... strange... the occasionall mushroom digs its head into the sand, and one was albino & didn't look like a msurhoom at all, had no shape, really, very strange.
Are mutated mushrooms safe to eat?
Note: she used no lysol or bleach in the process.

I think I see a trend here. Definatly the classic grows some funny ones. Perhaps there is something wrong with it?
