hi! im from argentina an the laws for fire weapon possession are very strict here (renewal every 5 years, you must give the address were the gun is located, certificate of fire weapon use training, psychological tests, etc etc)
my question is how the US regulations for weapons are.
thanks

It really varies State to State. Some States, such as in the South... can be somewhat relaxed on their gun laws and some even have concealed carry permits.
You'll have to find out about which State you are thinking of coming to, to find out exactly what the laws are there.

Yeah it depends on your state.
In some states like Arizona (and possibly new hampshire I think) you can carry your gun openly without a permit, just like the old west.
Most places aren't too strict. And if you can find a gun show you can buy a gun without hardly any of the legal paperwork and stuff from what I understand.

no pysch test or anything stupid like that... you must be 21 have no record of violent crimes or felonies. in my state that would allow me to "openly" carry a hand gun and transport anywhere by other than my persons in three pieces it is then not considered a concealed firearm. but the applys to handguns only you can legally buy a long gun of any kind at age 18 with clean record and hang that bitch in your truck window if you want. a decent gunshop owner would have your current states laws on pamphlets or something.

If you are not a US citizen you are not allowed to own or have in your possession firearms in the US. That's Federal law and trumps all State laws. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

This is not true. You are not allowed to possess a firearm in the US only if you are an illegal alien. If you are a legal immigrant, but not yet a US citizen, you are allowed to own and possess firearms in the US.
This is not true if you used to be a US citizen, but have renounced your US citizenship. In that case, you are forever barred from possessing firearms in the US.
