sorry dude, but this ain't advanced. On top of that, answers are easy to find. You shouldn't post like this.

But anyway. You don't want hay, it's very shitty, search if you want to know why specifically.

Straw is what you want. Nearly any kind of straw will work, but 99% of us (and them too I suppose) use wheat straw. You get straw from nurseries, home improvement stores, farmers, landscape companies, some pet stores, and most overlooked, craft stores or even walmarts craft section. Craft straw is sometimes called hay on the packaging, but it is definitely straw. mini bales 12"X12"X6" cost anywhere from fifty cents to five dollars and can yield nearly a dry pound if you got mad luck or mad skills. If you like to get ripped off or are lazy, I believe mushroommagic sells preshredded straw from outrageous amounts of money. They also have other shitty business practices for which they should not be supported.

Oven bags suck, the plastic is thinner and the seams aren't sealed. Order autoclave bags from a vendor.
