Many of my friends missed my talk at SOMA Camp and Redwood City, so I am going to do it again tomorrow evening.
This will be a 90 minute powerpoint entitled Psilocybin Mushrooms of North America.
Presented by Alan Rockefeller, hacker-mycologist
Thursday, Feb. 17th @ 8:00 PM
@ Tropolis, 1088 67th St., Oakland.
Abstract: I highlight both common and rare psilocybin mushrooms which grow in the USA, Canada and Mexico, with emphasis on species found in California. The presentation contains many high quality original photographs and micrographs, habitat details and tips on finding, identifying and safely collecting psilocybin mushrooms.
There will be a question and answer session afterward around the fire in the back yard.

What is the current info regarding "cyanofriscosa" and subaeruginosa and how do you approach this in your presentation?

Is it the same powerpoint you did last year?
If not, it'd be cool if you uploaded it.

I love this site. Alan, and all of you amazing TI's, hats off to you. I hope to join your ranks someday and make hundreds of people's day. I, too, wish I was there. If you come to Prague, let me know. I'd love to meet you or any other in love with fungi/life as you.
All the best,
Robert.

You couldn't tell anymore, demons and man were related, and some would say the same, but who would like to claim? In time, Gods had even forgot, Demons, too, once love had sought. In times recent I remember, Once I was a man, In my heart I had an ember, I'll relate the best I can but it was snuffed, one distant December. And yet here I stand, no flesh, no bones, no seed or semen, All that's left is this Demon.

Thanks to everyone who showed up! The presentation went great and it was fun to hang out with everyone afterwards.
Every time I do this I get a packed house, maybe I will keep doing it until people stop showing up.
I made a new version of the presentation which I will upload soon. It fixes some typos, adds a couple new species and some more microscopy.
I made a special slide on the presentation to announce a mushroom foray which Lhun and I will be leading in Napa tomorrow. Details here:
