Chestnut Brown Beautys in the Burbs

i found these Chestnut Brown Beauties growing in my parents yard a few summers ago after it had been raining a few days. unfortunately i didnt think to pinch them to see if they bruised blue.

They won't bruise blue. They look like old Amanita specimens, perhaps A. pantherina but it's hard to tell in the state they're in.

i kinda figured they were Amanita cus of the white-gills. amanita is my fav species :happyheart:

If it is your favorite Genus, than why would you think they bruised blue?
