Has anybody ever seen there? Someone shot this my way yesterday and said it's a pretty nice trip movie, I plan on watching it in the near future.

Definitely a good trip movie and if you're into spirituality it's also a nice movie sober.
One of the wildest films I've seen I'd say. Cinematography is on par if not better then A clockwork Orangee.
Glad I can enjoy the fruit of the 70s
What exactly do you mean, "I have seen IT, not there"?
I'm trying to choose a couple movies to watch while on B-DFLY, and this seems up there. I loved A Clockwork Orange, I'm also thinking about watching The Wall.

I just watched Enter the Void last night, and that movie was amazingly sick. It's probably one of trippiest movies I have ever seen.

I definitely agree, watched it this morning and wow. Definitely an interesting watch which could potentially be a mindfuck journey during psychological exploration =]
Will need to check out The Void, sounds interesting.

Unfortunately, without an inherent truth to life, it would be impossible to hinder free thought and forcefully impose surreptitious ideologies which ultimately infarcts the portion of the brain responsible for applying any work not rewarded by monetary gain. That would be bad. Contemplating counter intuitive concepts can culminate with capricious creativity or cerebral cessation. Conceivably crazy, yet clever, coherent concepts challenge copulatory clichés, criminal cabals and certainty contrived of conjectures. Cognition or coagulation, choose conscientiously.

The second half is meant to contrast the first half. The Shamans were real and the group was actually tripping on mushrooms. At the Pantheon, the Poet, the Professor, and the Mountain Climber are inspired by Alan Ginsberg, Timothy Leary, and Aleister Crowley.
They actually climbed a mountain and the ending was a surprise to everyone but the director.
In the DVD commentary, Jodorowsky explains much of the symbolism. Check out his book, Psychomagic.

The holy mountain rules. I was into these thing before and the only thing I can say is that if you have a chance, watch it. El Topo from the same director is also a really good movie. It is realistic. I notice that people tend to watch it for the first 15-20 minutes, but it becomes very interesting after 45minutes. Just hold on

If you are going to trip on it, I suggest that you first watch it and get accustomed to it. I would never trip on that stuff before watching it Death is very beautiful, like the birth.
