I was not going to mention this incident, just absorb it as a lesson.
However, in the interest of forum members it will be recounted.
5+ weeks ago a properly filled out and posted letter with proper payment was sent to the FSRCanada to acquire a spore print.
There has been no response. Five weeks should be more than adequate time to realize a turnover.
The website lights are on
but , nobody is home.
Save your two dollars for something else.

I do not think lost mail is the case.
Has anyone had success with FSRC any time lately?
If that were so, then lost mail could be a possibility.
If the website is up and running and no one is served, then something is definitely amiss!

Protip: get it from FSRE or wait until the market forum unlocks and get in some contests/giveaways. Sad to hear that FSRC sucks or your letter got lost but try emailing the dude that runs it.

I got all my Prints form FSRE.
This can take some time (up to a month) until ur print arrive.
Cant say anything about FSRC.

good advice,
Couldn't find a contact at the website.
Forum searches produce nothing recent,
which leads to the defunct supposition.
I tried FSRE since my mailing to FSRCanada.
Successfully!

Koolaid, got a good story for you since we're veering offtopic anyway.
I was at a company and had to ship something out of their dock back to a vendor. It had a prepaid sticker from FedEx so I went to talk to the dock manager. I walked in and he was sitting there with their daily UPS guy scanning outbound packages. I told him the situation and he looked at me kinda funny, looked towards the UPS guy then said (loudly) "OH you want to ship it Fedex huh?!". UPS guy turns and says, "Sure, I'll deliver it for you. I'll tie a rope to it and drag it behind the truck.". Somehow I came up with a snap instantly and said, "well, at least that way it'll LOOK like UPS delivered it."
UPS dude about shit his pants, dock manager died laughing.

Just thought I'd bump this thread to let everyone know FSRCanada doesn't seem to be operating anymore, I sent a request a week ago or so and the letter was returned to me with a message on the envelope saying "Return To Sender, P.O. BOX CLOSED".
Even though the website says there open I don't think they are. Sucks because I was gonna donate some prints to them, oh well. FSRE is absolutely genuine though.
