Big Snow Weilii
    #13766943 - 01/11/11 12:50 AM (13 years, 3 months ago)

So, in my area north of Atlanta we got about 4-6 inches of snow. When all the snow melts, do you think there could be a flush of weilii around for a couple days?

i would say unless the temps rise severely probably not because of the low temps that and weilii usually harvest may to december other then that if temps hit 70-80 maybe then but you should wait and after the first real hot sunny day go hunting that evening if the ground is soggy you probably wont find much but if you get a few days in a row then go every night

meh i grew up out near tybee island and the temps in ga tend to be warmer sooner then the rest of the world lol so i wouldnt expect to wait till may for some good pickins thats just the average time of year i would say probably like late march and into the first weeks of april when it gets really sticky humid air and good hot day thats prime time imo

i find its good to keep tabs on habitats year round anyway because you can watch how they change or not and relate that to what you find from season to season
i think it's unlikely you will find weii until after winter though unfortunately, something to look forward to anyway
