 First PF tek grow and already eyeballing damiens 5050 bulk

So Im in the middle of my first PF tek grow. I Got seven cakes in a SCFC first 3 are pinning now. Other 3 went in 4 days behind them.I got one from the first batch not showing at all but I still have hope. Anyway, Ive been thinking about going to bulk next. Damiens 5050 coir. My Question is should i use another batch of BRF to spawn? I already have all the stuff. Or, would it be worth my while to do WBS?I have a PC.Would the yield be more? Is WBS really any harder? Are Bulk grows really any more difficult? The Tek seems pretty simple.

To me, bulk grows are just as easy.
The only reason to go with pf tek is if you don't have a pc. WBS is easy to work with, I don't even simmer mine, just soak for 24 hours, strain for several hours load into jars with a tyvek filter, and pc.
You'll have much larger fruits from a mono tub, and no where near the level of attention is required. You won't need to be fanning and misting a mono tub nearly as much as you will cakes in a shotgun fc.

Monotubs are great! I would go with the WBS though (it's not hard to prep.), flour won't be nearly as good at making lots of inoculation points.
There's a bunch of legit teks out there that will give you success. It's important to follow what others have done for a bit till you get your own groove though. At the core they're all the same but I like Faht's...

Bulk grows aren't anymore difficult. There are a few more steps you need to follow, but it's not hard. A lot of people start with pf cakes because they don't have a pc.. and it's pretty difficult to screw up. I started with pf cakes because I felt like I needed to get a bit of hands on experience before delving into a larger grow.
WBS is good to work with, but I prefer the rye I am working with now. I use RR's rye tek & damion5050's coir tek, They haven't failed me yet.

why do you prefer rye? is it easier? does it yield more? What about using the rest of the stuff I have to make BRF jars to spawn the coir?

People prefer rye for personal reasons, but the universal seeming to be that it's easier to get the moisture content down being that all grains are pretty much uniform in size as opposed to WBS which contains many different types of grain.
I, personally, started my grain venture(s) with WBS and continue to use WBS because it's cheaper. It only took me one go round to get the prep down and even though on my first attempt I wound up with more burst kernels than I'd like to have had, my project still turned out just fine.
