just got my Salvia Div. plant in the mail! it came with some small roots already(in a little soil), but i thought i'd give it a couple days in a bottle of some lukewarm water just to help it recover from the trip it was just on... i plan on going to get some miracle grow and mix it with some vermiculite... then place it in the window with my other cacti... looks like the perfect lighting for salvia in the window(kinda shadowed by the cacti)... temperatures are in the low 70's, but i can raise that slightly.... this is my first time growing cacti or salvia so any advice would be greatly appreciated...
i forgot to post pics of the seed packs i got so here they are... papaver somiforum giganteum and peruvian torch seeds!

well, i planted the salvia in a medium size pot. i used regular potting soil mixed with virmiculite, lightly watered. it's sitting in the window right now.. but the window doesn't get all that much light, mostly just ambiet outdoor light, as my neighbor's house blocks the sun some of the time
and yeah let's see some pics of your pedro man! bouncingb is great, i think i might order some more things from them

look up a guide called "cultivating diver's sage"(I think thats it)
I have some pedro seeds (but am SUPER poor right now) and I am think of saying fuck what I have read( to a point ) and just putting three seeds in organic soil that I have its not "for cactus" but it drys out well and I think it will work
and hey its not like I wont have time to wait before the pedros grow(and in which time I will get a new job and help myself and my pedros) anyone see a problem with this
Ithink it will work fine but..............

i just put it in that pot sunday, and i'm not sure how long a cactus that size would take to root....
well guys, bad news, looks like my salvia's gonna die... when it first arrived i put it in a bottle of water to rehydrate the roots, then i planted it in some regular potting soil with vermiculite.... i put it in a semi lighted window.... it started to wilt... now i've moved it from the window to the middle of my room and put a plastic bag over it to retain humidity.... looks like she's just gonna wilt and die on me.... anything i can do?

ZerOvega, what size pot is that you have your San pedro in? I know they can grow pretty tall, i've seen ones up to 5,6,7 feet befor. wonder how much room you need for one of that size.

not sure how many gallons, but it took nearly 2 bags of cactus potting soil and some desert sand to fill it... about 10 inches tall and 12 inches in diatmeter...i could do that math, but it's not perfectly cylindrical

impose an outline of the silohouette of the pot onto a cartesian axis and, integrate and rotate around an axis cylindrical shell method. I dare you!
