I would call them Psilocybe strictipes, but yeah, they are what you have been looking for. The differences between both species are minimal and often they can't really be told apart by their macroscopic traits alone.

Interesting.... i have quite a few, I will have to research them.  Some of them are quite big, some of them are quite rounded, but all have a nipple.  Some are light brown, some are silver, some are dark brown.  I just want to be sure I'm not going to indulge myself in something I shouldn't....  Shall wait for some more feedback.  THank you for your quick response.

I'd be interested in a spore print.

correct me if I'm wrong GK but aren't the lookalikes of these harmless so even if you get a dud in the bunch you'll be ok?

here is one looking decidedly brown :/..... few others have made any real mark as of yet as they have only been left for an hour or so.

I believe this is a print of one of the mushrooms towards the left of that picture, rather than the ones on the right.  The ones on the right are a bit purpler but have left very little print, unphotographable currently.

Erm, thanks, but I meant obtaining a spore print from you. I have spores to trade. You can check my journal.
I am specifically interested in the spores of #3,4,5 and 6 (from the left).

1) Both libs and stricts have nipples. Stricts don't always have a distinct one, but the presence of one doesn't mean it isn't a strict. A synonym for strictipes is Psilocybe semilanceata var. strictipes. The only macroscopic difference is the wider cap.
2) I do not think that they are any less potent.

I think this is a pretty good page on P. strictipes:
http://en.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enwiki/7813893

Note the not very prominent but present nipple.

from that website:

"Gills: Cream colored when young, dark purple brown when mature, adnate attachment."

Interesting, the little ones I have have light coloured gills, with the older and obviously aged ones having very dark gills.

Yes, that's what's to be expected. The young ones have just started to produce spores, hence the light gills, the old ones have gills that are rich with spores, hence the dark coloration.
