Before I get flamed for trying to take ideas that aren't mine I want to state that the idea for this method came from a combination of Hippie's Bulk TEK and High Fun Guy's 10 Step Quicky Colonization TEK. I've seen a friend follow this procedure 4 times so far with no contams (Knock on wood) and wanted to share this and see if anyone has any ideas to make it better.
Equipment and Ingredients:
Turkey Baking Bag Twist tie with the plastic stripped off of it Liter mason jar Cardboard box Lysol 3.75 c vermiculite 1.75 c BRF 1.75 c distilled water 1/2 print scalpel mixing bowl spoon Pot of water with a lid to steam in
Procedure:
-In the mixing bowl mix together the vermiculite and the BRF until it's well combined. -Pour the mixture into the turkey bag force out the air in the bag and close with the stripped twist tie. -Preheat the oven to 350 and put the bag in -Spray the inside of the box down with lysol -After the bag has cooked for 1 hour take the bag out and put it directly into the lysoled box to cool -Bring distilled water to a boil either in a microwave or in a pot -Pour distilled water into the mason jar and screw on the band with the lid upside down to allow air to escape -Steam mason jar for 30 min -Allow mason jar to cool completely (approx 3-4 hrs) -Lysol an area in a semi sterile room to work on or use a glove box for the rest of the steps -Heat the tip of the scalpel red hot -Take the band off of the mason jar leaving the lid on. -Move the lid of the mason jar over until you have a space on one side about 1 cm wide -Open the print and using the scalpel scrape 1/2 of the print into the water in the jar -Replace lid as quickly as possiple on the jar and aggitate to spread the spores -Open box and without removing the bag take the twist tie off the bag -Quickly open the end of the bag and the jar and pour the spore water into the bag. -Force the excess air out of the bag and replace the twist tie -Knead the bag being careful not to bust it until the moisture is evenly distributed -Close the box back up and put in a warm (80 - 85 degree) place -Wait
The amount of substrate is roughly equivalent to 6 1/2 pint jars and My friend tried this 4 times with full colonization in 10-14 days @ 84 degrees. The amount of the print used is overkill but it speeds colonization like crazy.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. I'll be posting pics if I can get my crappy webcam to work the next time he tries it.

It's been done 4 times with great result. The addition of honey I think would just invite contams but I'll get my "Friend" to try it

Used 300 ml of colonized honey water and 138 ml sterile distilled water (1.75 c total liquid) in the mixture. I'll post results in a couple days.

I also seem to remember something about one bag being put in another bag so that when you opened the inside bag, the air from the outside bag was still sterile...

That's the reason for the lysoled box. the air in the box is sterile.

This is an interesting tek that I may get some hobo to try out one day
If the hobo only had spore syringes, what's the minimum amount of solution he'd want to use with this recipe?

In my friends experinces he's found out that the old saying is very trun in this case "bigger is better" ...the more spore solution/ colonized mycellium honey water a hobo uses the better...but if a hobo doesn't have alot of thse things then the ho bo should just concentrate on the utmost quality of his/her first batch and then spawnig a good size amount of regenerating agents Colonized water ,spore water etc....Then you can really give your Caseing/cake the Genrous amount of it
