Strange yellow mushroom growing in a house plant?!?!

Well I just noticed something very strange growing in the flower pot that has my mother in laws tong plant in it. It is about 1 inch tall and I can see the mycelium has completely colonized under the top layer of soil. There are a ton of pins forming as well. Is this something t be concerned about?

It won't hurt the plant but don't eat it.
