i dont have foil and basically have that is it worth making a print to give people ?

Prints won't last as long on paper. In addition, many of the spores get trapped in the weave of the paper, making them harder to get out.

prints have been know to come on note-card stock....
once someone sent me a spore print inside a laminated bookmark...i still have it to this day, tooo pretty to have used

if i left a mushroom out and it got moldy only after like a day and half or 2 should i even bother making a print due to this room being unsterilized, at the same time its a wild mushroom found near by so it might be resistant to whats in the air in this room

Not to be knocking you or anything, but you shouldnt be making prints to if you dont know how. But looking at your post count and sitetime, it would appear you have been around the block. Is this a cube you found out in the woods and cant id it, wanna get a print, and send to someone to cultivate? It doesnt really matter how dirty the spores are, as long as we have the spores....

nah its not a cube looking at my post count youd know i work with gyms and ovoids, cubes arent that good at all
im pretty much asking if theyd be worth sending any one they dont need no ID cause they are them for sure

This bookmark is very special to me...I received it on one of my first few trades here back in '04...i think it was like my 3rd or 4th one...all the others before it came on either foil or notecards, so we werent sure what to do with it...so i kept it, always loved the way it looked and what it represented...Well, to keep it brief, my partner stole all my supplies and ran and i lost everything...while visiting his brother one day, i saw a box slightly opened with my partners name on it, inside i saw what appeared to be a copy of "growing gourmet and medicinal mushrooms" by Paul Stamets I asked my friend(his brother) if i could look inside said box...sure nuff, my old print collection and various other things were there...my friend said i knew what to do....we took that box to my car...

Spore prints are fine on paper, but just know that it is easier for both the spores and bacteria to get down into the weaves of the paper as RR said previously.
What I recommend is going to walmart and buying yourself some nice grade aluminum foil. There is nothing wrong with using paper, but I hope you are working with agar so you can isolate it away from bacteria.
