What's the youngest you can transplant a cactus?

I'm starting bridgesii from seed now, but I may have to move them in the spring, and they will still be fairly small.

Is it safe to transplant them at such a young age?  I don't think they'd make the move in their lil' pots.

but you didn't give specs? pictures by some chance. really it's like any plant if they dry out during transplant before roots sprout you are screwed

also i've heard not to water transplanted cactus for 10 days or the roots won't sprout. so yeah, if they are too small they could dehydrate, you should really think if they can survive almost 2 weeks without water as the first roots might not sprout until then. how tall are they now?

I think they'll only need about 2weeks out of soil, so I guess they'll be fine as long as they're out of the stage where they need to be kept humid.

Thanks for the input
