 I have an odd question about caps and stems

I "could have" "may still possibly" live in florida. I have a friend who is really looking forward to some of home grown PC's. Around here alot of people go picking. If you get some from somebody they usually have been picked locally. My friend tells me that everyone he has been talking to around here says that they only eat the caps. Someone was describing the weight of the bag they got and he said "yeh... and that bag had stems". I have had local shrooms myself and we always eat stem and cap. Why would these people say that they only eat the caps or complain about a bag having stems? Are caps better than stems? Is that normal to distribute a bag without stems?

i have heard of people like this as well. i never found any merit in the idea. it just doesnt make sence to me.
maybe they are just picky.

I think the stems are as good if not better than the caps. I've know some kids who think that it's the spores that make you trip, so they wont even eat stems, only caps! The stems have more bulk to hold the good stuff, too.

lol, then how do they explain the legality of spores?
i think , there are test that have proven that psilocybin content is the same in caps and stems, if not only slightly more in caps.
why dont you do a test: eat 3 or so grams caps , then eat 3 or so grams stems and see if you can tell a difference in the trip.

The kid I'm talking about who said that about the spores didn't even know that someone could grow them indoors!  Ha! ( I didn't tell him that you could either, I don't think he'd need them anyway)

You get a smoother high when you eat the caps only..we always have kept the stems for the winter time when picking is bad. If you eat a bunch of stems it will make your legs cramp an feel kinda uncomfortable. When you live on the gulf coast like we do you can be a shroom conniseaur {sp?} and be a big fat pig eating caps only. Then it gets colder an thats when ya go scouring fer your stemish stash..Dont get me wrong cause stems are  extremely potent but like i said before the caps give you a much smoother high. Its a fucking blast when you can fill a bigassed bag {5lbs wet} of choice smaller shrooms that are just opening in about 45 minutes time...Damn i love tha shit outta cows..moo moo

I spent some time trying to tell him that my spore syringes were NOT novicane.. but then I just gave up.

Sounds like a waste of fungus to me. All of those caps had stems at one point. If people are just picking the caps, or picking the whole shroom and throwing the stems away, then they are killing 2-3 times as many mushrooms in the process.
That can't be good for the local shroom population.
The best ones will be the ones that have caps that arent opened yet.

i think, totally opinion, could be wrong, that the whole preference to caps comes from the fact that for a meaty shroom the cap is much more palatable sinceit is not all stringy and tough. that started whole shitspawn of crap like this stupid theory. my opinion of course.another stupid rumor I have yet to seen proven and have argued to no avail with dumbasses (like th novocaine dumbass) is that shrooms can be grown hydroponically. i'm not saying they can't be grown that way. I've been growing for 6 years and have never seen a hydroponic tek. nothing in the way of hydroponics has ever occured to me to be useful for growing shrooms. i think it is dumb dealer hype. i havemet some dumbasses who treated stems like you would stems and seeds in a bag of pot, free trip for me!!

yeah my friends that dont know anything about growing shrooms at all always say hydroponic shrooms, i think they think that shrooms grown indoors are hydroponic or somthing .. but actually the hydra pod would be considered hydroponic growing if the cakes grew roots into the geolite, but they dont.
yesterday my freind was like im gettin a half ounce of hydroponic shrooms for 130 or somthin, i was just like: oh cool. then he was like im about to start growin shrooms. i thought to my self: good luck idiot.
