Dunno what to do with giant bucket
    #12836050 - 07/01/10 06:50 PM (13 years, 8 months ago)

i got myself one of these (70 qts i think)

i got 3 large cakes on the way and some more as well.

My initial thought was to make it a shotgun tub with 4 inches of perlite at the bottom and 2 layers of cakes. I was gonna make layers with some kind of wires to hold it.

Now Im thinking of saving the effort and still having the perlite but just making a few big holes instead.

What do you think?

monotub. just drill the holes, fill with polyfill. and add a clear shower cap over the top. for fae and ge just grab the middle of the shower cap and pull up and down.

Helpful...

Saran wrap will work just as well as a shower cap.

lol, ya, just delete that link. could make a nice strainer... that is if you deal with 20lb of grains at a time. or ya can still use it for a mono. just have to cover the lid with plastic.

I think he's on to something here.  Make a giant cake and fruit it in a shotgun or greenhouse.
