What makes you really angry? How do you make other people angry? How do you release your anger? Except for physical aggresion, what other ways are there? How do you cool down? How do you enrage yourself? What really pisses you off? What makes your blood boil? Can you describe some situations in detail which you were so angry you lost all control and why?
I'd really like your personal opinion on these questions. Thanks in advance

Yeah that one really works wonders. Eventho science hasn't figured out a universal theory yet, everyone seems to be 100% convinced that their theories are correct and if you go against them they go all nuts and go into a berserking rage. Amazing isn't it how the ego of an average man can be so extremely huge?

it's like a deal with the devil.
I do recommend occasional (really occasional) indulgence in anger only to remove an obstruction.
otherwise, I practice awareness and relaxation.
if there are alternatives, i avoid anger
it creates much disconnection but can be an excellent work out as well.
emotions can be a refreshing bath of chemical changes.

Last week I was in the presence of a family when the husband, after being warned about this, was having a fit of rage in my presence. I was there to offer him some help but he was too interested in abusing his wife, child and family pet. I said, "I'm talking to you." He said, "So?" That was it. I raised my voice, looked him dead in the eyes and said, "FUCK YOU!" He told me to leave. I moved closer, raised my hand with the middle finger extended in his face and said in a louder voice, "FUCK YOU!!!!" Then I turned toward the door and said, "The next time you need help, find somebody else" and walked out the door.
I didn't leave for several hours but, without explaining more details, he ended up in the hospital for several days. No charges were filed.
As I like to say, "Don't start no shit and there won't be any."
Is this thread a cry for help?

That's fucked up. I would never have someone with anger issues come over to 'help' someone whose having anger issues
I get angry with people who see things in black and white and are unwilling to negotiate. They typically think of themselves as 'right' and those who disagree with them as 'wrong'. When there is a disagreement with them, they won't budge cause they don't value others opinions. I won't physically attack anyone unless they present a real physical danger.

It's funny- why am I more prone to act on irrational frustration concerning people closest to me than to retaliate towards anything a stranger has to offer?

If the intention was to cure the patient I failed miserably. It wasn't. It was to prevent that behavior from happening in my presence again. Since Hiroshima Japan hasn't attacked us with force, have they?
That is the way social sanctioning works. It may not cure behavioral dysfunction but it does drive the assholes underground.
