I have had a lot of contams with oven sterilization...I might not be heating long enough..any help will be much appreciated. :confused:

did you preheat the oven to about 350 degrees (F)? i read thats how hot its gotta be preheated to, then let it sit in there witht he heat still on for about an hour or so.

you need a big casserole dish with a lid. preferably pyrex .
put 1" of water in the bottom, set oven at 250 ,start timeing when water boils, add water as needed .
but i would pasteuize instead .
