More IDs asked by a clueless noob (succulents and garden herbs/weeds)

Dear botanical experts, here's a batch of recent finds I'd like to ID if you can help (I wouldn't have the slightest clue about ID'ing them myself.)
First, some succulents on sale at a local nursery (no more lophs I'm afraid - someone bought them all up already ;-)
1. I like this because it's a little loph-like. Picked it up.
2. Another keeper. Nice woolly areoles and flower (is that a flower?)
3. I didn't pick this up, but maybe I will. Got a large shallow pot I'd like to fill up with pretty looking cacti :-)
4. Not a succulent probably, but looks interesting. I got one of these.
Second, some stuff growing on my turf.
5. Nepeta cataria (catnip), Leonurus sibiricus (Siberian motherwort) or Leonotis leonurus (Lion's ear)? I had a mixed bunch of seeds that I just dropped in this unused corner and this is all that seems to be coming out. Can't figure out what it is (it must be one of the three, because no such wild weed can be seen anywhere else round here).
6. This one grew spontaneously. It has an interesting smell, a little candy-like, not unpleasant but funny. That fly must be hypnotized.

What's the one directly behind the cactus in picture 3? Looks Trichish

1. Matucana madisoniorum 2. Echinopsis subdenudata 3. Euophorbia valida 4. Some caudiciform, not sure on the genus or species though.
The only one I'm not 100% sure on is the Euphorbia sp., but it certainly is in the genus Euphorbia.
@iFennario: It's an Echinocereus viereckii ssp. morricalii, I've been seeing them posted a lot lately.

Aha, great job guys!
So the succulents are all identified apart from a minor species uncertainty for the Euphorbia. Great job! I recognized the Echinocereus viereckii ssp. morricalii myself right at the nursery, because Cactusdan recently ID'ed one for me (I picked it up exactly because it "looked trichish", hehe ;-) )
I'm still very curious about the weeds, especially #6. As for #5, it should be plain to see when it grows and flowers. I have a hunch it's Leonurus sibiricus because I can picture the leaves getting thin and elongated in due time.

5. is probably the Leonurus sibericus. It looks like the photos on the image search. And it's not catnip and doesn't look like L.leonurus either.

So the only puzzle left is #6. It is interesting for at least 2 reasons:
1) It's the only specimen that I have. It grew spontaneously. I've never noticed such a plant anywhere else before.
2) It smells very peculiar. If it isn't used as a spice, it must mean it's toxic (or psychoactive or something). That fly in the picture didn't move while I moved around taking pics. Was he dying, tripping or what?
@iFennario @KBG1977 I suspected so, but having experts confirm my suspect is much better I wonder why neither Nepeta neither Leonotis sprouted a single plant, either in that semi-neglected corner or in other places, including pots. Mint grows freely here, and at least Nepeta should have very similar requirements. Mysteries of nature. I'll keep on trying, adding Melissa (Lemon Balm) too.
@sidvivius I hoped so, but the root/bulb is still very young and doesn't look elephantish yet. Way to go, baby elephant!
I just love these forums!

Well it must have, or how would the plant come out? However, it wasn't in any of my seed batches, because I never sowed anything right there.

I think it may just be some common weed from your area, it's not psychedelic that's for sure. Looks familiar though.

Common it is not. First time I ever see (or notice) it. But whatever, I guess I'll find out eventually :-)

I agree with karode that #6 seems like a local weed. Looks to be in the Apiaceae/Umbelliferae family (includes carrots, chervil, caraway, parsley, cumin etc). All members of this family are considered to attract beneficial insects like predatory wasps/flies and ladybugs because of their umbelliferous flower type.

If L.leonurus is anything like L.nepetifolia, it needs lots of full sun + moisture to germinate. Catnip also likes full sun. Is the area too shady or too dry perhaps? These should germ no problem with the right conditions.

Update: Leonotis leonurus and Leonurus sibiricus germinated at last - and L.sibiricus has been harvested already (full story here).
As for #6, it was inadvertently torn from the ground (not by me!). However, maybe I found out: I guess it was Artemisia annua - it looks very similar and it has a peculiar smell, "camphor" according to wikipedia (smells more like candy to me).
