GC not producing spores.
    #1263381 - 01/30/03 08:07 PM (21 years, 2 months ago)

I have four strains on the go, and when I take prints from three of them - no problem. But when I try to take a print from the GCs - nothing, not a single spore is dropped. The gills are very clean. All four strains are exposed to the same conditions, and I'm leaving the caps until they start to bend upwards at the edges. Is this a known issue with GC? Or is there another factor at work here?
Thanks

i faced problems with my GT. i even left them three days to drop the spores and the print was sooooooooo fuckin light, you could see-through lol

dunno. perhaps some kind of contam, or mutation or conditions. i found that those GT dropped spores more easily when i was moistening the top of the caps three times a day with a droplet of water.

about GC... dunno
