Habitat:
SE Queensland Australia, From a cut off hardwood stump.

Gills:
white/ Off white

Stem:
almost none, strong,solid attatched to the stump, slightly rubbery
 
Cap:
smooth various sizes, white/offwhite, slightly rubbery

Spore print color:
in progress/ Maybe white offwhite

Bruising:
none noticed

Other information:
woody/shop mushroom smell! Sorry about the quality of the pics. but I tried to make up with quantity! Im hoping this may be a native edible!

I'd say that is a Pleurotus sp.

So this would be an edible then?
There were more there but most had grubs all through them!
whats the best way to get to culivating these?
I would really love to start growing some Aussie native edibles!

i can see maggot holes, beware the maggots, damm things always in my oysters as well

Yeah they were in the older one! I didnt realise that they actually jumped!! I was printing on some foil and could hear a ticking noise, watched to see what it was and the little buggers were actually launching themselves all over the place!:eek:
