The sensual voice of Astrud Gilberto singing Insensatez complete with a bad, wicked, sax solo by Stan Getz!
Insensatez (Insensitive) Musik: Antonio Carlos Jobim
Vai, meu coraao, ouve a razao Usa so sinceridade Quem semeia vento, diz a razao Colhe sempre tempestade Vai, meu coraao, pede perdao Perdao apaixonado Vai, porque quem nao pede perdao Nao e nunca perdoado
* I know that Insensatez is not on this album, but I just love, love, her cover photo on this album. I'll put this album on next...

OK, I'm now on the album pictured above...
Fly Me to the Moon Bart Howard
Fly me to the moon And let me play among the stars Let me see what spring is like On Jupiter and Mars In other words hold my hand In other words darling kiss me
Fill my life with song And let me sing forevermore You are all I hope for All I worship and adore In other words please be true In other words I love you
Interestingly, the chord progression for this song has been used many times by Carlos Santa for such songs as Europa (which also included the same melody albeit with different note timings)...

OK! I have pulled a typical papaver DJ move, and veered suddenly and abruptly from Brazilian smooth music, that you drive up the coast highway with your lady under the influence of Kettle One vodka martinis, to the likes of detox-rage cowpunk by former Social Distortion frontman, Mike Ness! All I Can Do Is Cry Wayne Walker (as performed by Mike Ness) Left my girl in Kansas City Left her crying in the rain Well, I told her that I made my mind up I didn't want to see her again What makes the night so lonely? What makes the night so long? Well, I guess it's just because I'm a man That's done a good woman wrong I can't eat, I can't sleep All I can do is cry All I can do is cry Told her that she was a trifler Told her that she played around But I was just a lyin' man Trying to hide the tracks she'd found Gonna catch myself a flyer One that's Kansas City bound I'm goin' looking for my baby Good Lord, I hope she's still around I can't eat, I can't sleep All I can do is cry All I can do is cry * You can't see it in this photo, but there's a cool pinup girl picture on his guitar, as well as an autograph by none other than Buck Owens!

I dig it, man! There's no better smooth music for driving a young lovely up the coast highway than Brazilian Bossa Nova! *Just make sure you got your portable martini kit and some Kettle One vodka!
