Awesome Stuff To Listen To While Tripping on Shrooms

One of the main things about enjoying a mushroom trip is what you're doing, what you're thinking, and who you're with.

I don't often trip alone or indoors, but one time years ago I took some shrooms and started to listen to a funny audiobook once I started to feel the effects.

I ended up rolling on the floor laughing so hard I was drooling, and really enjoyed myself.

The audiobook I was listening to was Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy - BBC Radio version. 

Douglas Adams is hilarious whilst sober, but while on shrooms, it was fifty times as funny (even just the sound effects).

What have YOU listened to or watched while tripping that made it super-enjoyable?

Shpongle for sure. I also like Pink Floyd. Sometimes I find myself not wanting to listen to really trippy stuff, so I put on some Led Zep or something for good vibes.

Look into some post-rock... stuff like Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Mono, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Isis, etc...

If you're into electronica too it sounds great while tripping.

Besides music, I like going outside and hearing all the sounds I don't listen to enough.

I'm sure some people are tired of hearing "the Grateful Dead, dude!" , but last time I tripped with a buddy, we put on live Dead and put Microcosmos on the TV with the sound off. Nothing like closing your eyes during a solo and being swept off into the nether regions of the ionosphere, only to open them and find an image of two giant garden snails having sex in slow motion.

The Dead always take me there, every time, guaranteed.

I watched season 1 of Tim & Eric Awesome Show (Great Job!) and almost blacked out because I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. My face hurt so bad the next day.
