Skateboarding
    #11641561 - 12/13/09 09:18 AM (14 years, 3 months ago)

Is the outlet in my life that I truly love. I can honestly say that it has showed me the world in a way I cannot describe and has brought me to places I wouldn't have been otherwise. Thank the lord! People find the things you love unconditionally in this world and hold onto them!

Skateboarding FTW. I just cruise around downtown and in the park with my big fat wheels, and spray painted deck. - makes me super happy.

I used to skate when I was a kid until I was 16.  Was getting pretty good by the end of it.  Sets, rails, 3 flips.

I was obsessed and my wish was to become a pro.  I used to be in love with it, and I would dream about it.  Even years after I was finished with it, I'd find myself having dreams that I was skateboarding on occasion, doing crazy tricks you could only 'dream' of.

I stopped 7 years ago.  Now I don't care for it.  Used to be a passion, now it means nothing to me.

I've been skating for 8 years. Its probably the main passion in my life that actually makes me really happy. When you step on a skateboard, you have no direction, you let your mind take you where you want to go and do what you want to do.

You know how after you skate for a long time, you cant even drive down the street without noticing stairsets and gaps, something a normal person would never think anything of..? Yeah, i bet you do.

I love skateboarding, it wasnt nearlyyy as big as it was when tony hawks pro skater came out, literally EVERYBODY had to have a skateboard, and i'd say it was one of the leading sports, not just extreme sports, but all sports. I've met so many good people out on the streets.

The feeling of trying a trick all day long, wrecking, scaring up your body... when you finally catch, land, and roll away clean, its a feeling of ecstacy.

Holy fuck man, if you were here right now I'd grab you a beer, roll you a joint or get you any narcotic I can find and just chill together (no homo). You described the nostalgia I feel with perfect accuracy.

You rock, man. That's hilarious. Feels like I just took a hit of ecstasy and a huge hit from the bong. Fuck do I ever still love skateboarding.

9 years here, and still love to skate! About to hit up the local indoor park tonight. Damn snow! Quick survey, who's street, who's into tranny? I myself started loving street, but as I aged, transition has become my surface of choice. It's less harsh old the old bones... usually.

I used to skate a lot, but not so much anymore. My tastes have evolved more towards surfing, but damn it does feel good to get on a skateboard. I used to do tricks and stuff back in the day, but now I mostly just cruise around on my mini deck.  My roommate and I are thinking of building a mini half  pipe in our backyard. I hope we do, because that would be dope since those were my favorite things to skate when I was younger.

I'm definitely going to start skating more often though. It feels too damn good to cruise around and bomb hills.

Skateboarding was a great way for me to meet new friends, and go out adventuring. Filming with friends was always fun to do. 50 50 10 stairs and kickflips big stuff, was even better. And when you landed it you felt soo good. Like the king of the world. Plus I got it all on film.
