I think my coir is finally colonized 100% (except with cobweb)
    #11460698 - 11/15/09 03:14 PM (14 years, 4 months ago)

So I've been waiting for my coco coir to colonize and now it has. Although I'm afraid it may be mold as it is all cobwebby

A little water is pooled on one of the trays

Toss it out, or is that somehow not cobweb and I'm mistaking it for fuzzy mycelium

It doesn't look like cobweb to me.  It looks very fuzzy and white, cobweb is gray, I think you are fine.  Introduce to fruiting conditions, if you ask me!

Your signature is wrong on colonization temps!

ROOM TEMP 70-75 IS BEST FOR COLONIZATION

Nice...
It didn't dissolve in a fine mist of 3% H2O2.

It reeked of healthy mushrooms. I had been letting it colonize for a long time so I think cobweb would have grown faster.

I got rid of the pools and put into fruiting conditions, thx Cubie and noobie!

Looks good to me, too. I believe that I had cobweb recently and it didn't look at all like that.
