The author of the "Conversations With God" series has released another book of his automatic writing conversations with God.
The book is called "The New Revelations". I'm going to have to take a look at it before I get it, but it should be a good read.
I've read some of the reviews of this book on Amazon.com, and the people seem to be saying that there isn't many new revelations, and that Walsh seems to be "playing dumb" when it comes to things that he and God have already discussed. So i'm not sure what to think, and I won't draw any conclusions until I see the book in my hands.
Weither or not this whole thing with Walsh is BS, you can't find a better explanation for what life is about in the whole world that what you'll find in the other books.
If this book is anywhere near as good as the others, i'll be buying it.

Technically all threads about books are supposed to go in the Literary forum. But..... since a book like this would be interesting for those who frequent this forum AND in the interest of promoting the reading of good books, it can stay here until most regs will have seen it and then I push it over to the Literary forum so that crowd can see it too. Thanks for bringing it up.

No, it's not the christian God.
This God is unconditionally loving and isn't for or against anything. However he/she suggests many times throughout the series that religion seperates people, rather than bringing them together.

Yes, they are all three great books. Walsh does play dumb throught the books because, it give's the people who have not read the other books a chance to catch up...

I'm not talking about the first three, or even "Friendship..." or "Communion...".
I don't really know where or why or IF he's playing dumb. I'm just telling you what one reader said on Amazon.com.
I'm sure this book is 100% better than most other spiritual books out there for(my tastes), either way.

Weither or not this whole thing with Walsh is BS...
Of course it is about money.
Reread book 1 where God told him that he would write just three books. THREE! A real conversation with an omniscient God would have revealed that Walsch will write as MANY books, journals, calendars, T-Shirts as the buying public will swallow.
The idea that the content is so good that it doesn't matter if the basic premise is true or not, is nonsense. These books are no different than Castaneda's where Don Juan was a fictitious character. Teachings based on a falsehood can hardly be trusted.
Walsch should have just said that they were his views and I would have respected that.
