Hey, it seems to me like we need a place on this site dedicated to people struggling with addictions. It would just be a chill place where people could come tell us what they are facing and get the support they really need. Not only would it help people, I think it would also put a more positive look on the the growery/shroomery in general. People might look at it like "wow they actually care about one another" maybe Cannabis/Mushrooms arent such a bad thing. But the main reason for the forum of course would be to help people out. I have seen some pretty cool things happening on my thread over on the growery. Things like people sending tea to help with with-drawls, and people checking in every day to make sure everything is going alright. Anyways, I think it would be a good idea. I know we have a place like health and wellbeing but it seems to deal with overall health and not addictions. Just a thought.

Addiction related topics should be posted in our Physical & Mental Well-Being forum. That forum receives a good amount of traffic and is well moderated in order to keep the environment positive and supportive. Creating an additional forum or sub-forum specifically for addiction would dilute the exposure such threads would receive and/or require additional moderation. In the interests of keeping the community well defined while also maintaining a set of active forums that are easy to browse, I do not believe there should be a separate forum for these topics.

You can get feedback and support in a kindly caring enviroment full of special, unique, snowflakes anywhere.
What addicts need is to hear from pissed off burnouts and crackheads that waste their lifes away.
