Just got my new external HD in the mail

1 TB hard drive finally.
Also got some Z2300 speakers which are surely good enough for me and quite the upgrade from my laptop speakers that I've been using in my room since last winter.

I'm gonna start transferring all my shit to my new hard drive and get a bottle of wine. Then I'm gonna fucking blast tunes and clean my room. This has actually inspired me to clean up so I can have a nicer setup with the speakers and shit.

I'm so happy :laugh:

You're gonna have to format it to use it - it may be formatted in NTFS, which is not compatible with OS X, unless you install a kernel extension for it.

Type Command + Spacebar

That bring up Spotlight, then type "Disk Utility". That is the program used for formatting.

Click on the drive from the selection on the left, go to the erase tab at the top.

Click on erase...

???

Profit.

I'm gonna have to post my set up sometime haha.

Sick desktop, 3TB of space (almost full), a nice amp, some decent speakers, and some nice headphones. Sweet mouse and keyboard, 24" monitor + 19" next to it.
