Aminta muscaria?

Habitat: along a tree line adjacent to a highway.

Gills: white

Stem: Whitish stem, with pronounced ring where veil tore

Cap: pinkish to orange, covered in warts.

Spore print color: white

Bruising: N/A

Location: southern Tennessee.
Any help is appreciated.

The base is off, I've never seen Amanita Muscaria with a volva base.

i may have sorta rubbed bits off the stems. i was ill prepared to collect the samples. sorta spur of the moment thing. is there anyway other information i could provide that would help the id, to make up for my mishandling?

You could go pick some fresh ones from where you found those. Everything looks like a Muscaria except the base.

The caps don't matter all you really need is the fuzzy stacked rings on the base so try to dig the base up with your fingers if the soil is soft enough.

The first 3 in pic #2 are almost surely Amanita Muscaria That is what the base is supposed to look like ,the 4th mushroom in pic looks different though. There should be enough info for a TI to make the ID just don't know where they are someone should see it soon to give you a Possitive or negative
