(no pic.) mushroom with black bruised stem

Habitat:
Near dead logs on grassy lawn

Gills:
tanish

Stem:
hollowed Tan near the cap and blackish on bottom.

Cap:
brown, have little dark spot in the center

Spore print color:
?

Bruising:
No, but stem bruise really black

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Without pics this is a nearly impossible identification. Certainly no way someone could ID this well enough for knowing whether or not to put something in your mouth.
