Storing wet hpoo (1 year old wet from rain) NOW WITH PICS!

i have 2 huge bags of it and cannot store it outside to dry. I only have my trunk or my closet. It does not smell. Could I just empty it into a tote and keep it composting until it is time to use it or will I breed a contam factory.

get a $50 vacuum sealer and bag em then pasturize. then you can stor em as lon as you want.
other than that you'll have to dry it to store, or like you said "contam factory".

the main problem is I blew my transmission today so I can't go buy anything. It's going to have to wait till tomorrow or the next day hopefully.

I leave my un-processed manure on a full sheet of plywood outside. It doesn't matter if it has contaminates in it. At this point, it is just a pile of stuff that came out of a horse's ass. I have to screen it and pasteurize it still. Until then, outside it stays.

Get some large flower pots and put them on your porch. Fill them with the manure. Let it rain all it wants to. Problem solved.
Nosy Neighbor: "Hey, Mr. Smith, what is in those flower pots."
You: "I'm growing daffodils in manure."
Nosy Neighbor: "Well those pots have been there for three weeks and I don't see any daffodils."
You: "Fuck off."

i cannot do that. without going into detail about my situation. I cannot put this manure outside. If its useless then I will throw it away.
I am going to try the food sealer though if everything works out tomorrow.

Okay. If I had some manure that I HAD to keep inside, I would put it in a pillow case(s) and let it drain/dry in the bathtub, then throw the dried manure bags in my closet. It won't stink once it's dry, and it won't mold or whatever in the pillowcase.
My manure tea bags, (that's what I call 'em), dry in less than 24 hours outside, don't know about inside.
I'm not sure I need to mention this, but just in case, I used old pillow cases that my wife didn't expect to sleep on ever again...

haha, I dont have any extra pillow cases but I have some 5 gal paint strainers. I am going to take your advice and do at least 1 bag tonight.
Appreciate the help with the weird problem!

I just tried to drain it and it is not wet enough to have any water come out. It is like cut grass clumps they stick together but theyre not soaked. I got some pics.
I think I am going to spread some over my mycology table and let it dry

Paint strainers will work. Once it's dry it's just like dirt. Throw it in a box and scoop some out when you need it...
