They have called me 5 times in the past few days to welcome me and make sure i have everything i need to know. It sounds like a phishing scam. How hard is it to know the phone number blocks to a pre-paid cell phone?
who else uses boost?
$50/month for unlimited calls, text, internet. with no monthly contract.

Boost is too ghetto for me.

it is ghetto, but it works. I got the $129 phone that has the small keypad on it. It's actually not that bad since it's from motorola, backed by sprint/nextel and has walkie talkie.
but if i dont have service, i will NEVER know about missed calls or text. which i think is lame. Voicemail doesn't even work.

Every time I hear someone in public walking around with that fucking walkie talkie bullshit I want to take their phone and cram it so far up their ass they'll think they got a bionic voicebox. Inconsiderate assholes, they are.

psychotron, i used boost for over a year, but i was paying $65/m unlimited. literally the month i left the states was the month they introduced $50/m. no fucking fair! but yeah, the $50/m unlimited everything is unbeatable. no contract ftw.
you should go to the howardforums or the crackberry forums and read up on the "boostberry". you can take an old blackberry, put in your boost card, and do some flashing of the firmware and some light softmod cracking (all of which has detailed instructions at these forums) to get a virtually fully functioning blackberry on the $50/m plan. fucking baller.
also, if you don't want to do that, then i recommend you dload a few free apps onto that phone you're using, to make it slightly smarter. Opera Mini is a way better browser. LifeinPocket allows you to utilize that GPS card the phone has, without having to pay boost extra. Nimbuzz enables you to use skype and virtually any instant messenger from your phone. Gmail has a free mobile app. and Instamapper allows you to track your phone on googlemaps via the GPS card, in case it is lost or stolen.

hmm, i never considered it but that's a good idea. I've been looking for the data cable, a mini usb. I thought they only had two small one's, but apparently they have another.
thanks for those recomendations, they sound pretty tight.

crack berry sweet, i like the idea.
although i think that when my contract is up, im going to get the $99/mo sprint simply everything plan, with unlimited minutes on my cell, and a laptop celly card.
cell cards are the shit, i wouldnt be very useful without the one i have now, but fuck verizon.... my bill is always huge.
