Anyone here still playing this?
I finally got my own copy so I can stop borrowing it from my pot dealer. Anyway, I am obsessed with this game and wanted to see who else is as well.
I can't explore enough or collect enough or massacre enough.
One of the best games of all time, easily.

Yeah that game is class. I never finished the last mission so that i can keep coming back and explore/massacre some more. Last time i opened it, i found launching missiles and that mini-nuke inside closed quarters to be quite entertaining ;p

Yeah, I want to get Broken Steel so I can continue the main quest and hit level 30.
Launching the Fatman at all the cars in Scrapyard (Where Dogmeat is) is a fireworks show.

I havn't had the opportunity to play all the downloadable content since it's original release. I heard it's even more kick-ass with the new levels.

I plan on playing the originals someday.
The Game of the Year Edition of Fallout 3 is coming out in october. It will have all 5 DLC's included: Broken Steel, The Pitt, Operation: Anchorage, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta.
I plan on trading in the game from my collector's edition for the GotY version.
By the way, the colledtor's edition kicks ass. You get the exact lunchbox you can pick up in-game, a generic Vault-Tec bobblehead, a making-of DVD, and a beautiful concept artbook.

you ever play the other bethesda games OP? I wasted ages 12-16 on Morrowind, between that and Civ4 coming out i didn't leave the house until i was 17. Me and this pillhead i used to live with used to play Oblivion simultaneously on two computers in the same room. It was indeed quite l33t

I lost ages in Morrowind as well, and was thinking of replaying it again.
Oblivion was awesome, and I still haven't even finished it yet. I just finally got my copy of that GOTY as well.
I'm a broke-ass.

Been playing Fallout 3 for like 4 days now and yes, im fucking hooked.
AMAZING gameplay. the graphics are just fucking awesome.
im playing it on PC riht now tho. i would rather play on ps3 or 360
nothing but the best from Bethesda Softworks though.
i love their games. (ES: morrowind and ES: Oblivion are just as good as FO3 imo)
although they steal copius amounts of my time, i seem to no mind most of the time because i enjoy the in game life better than this shitty corupted world.

Funny you would say you prefer a post apocalyptic, chaotic world; over our controlled corrupted world.

lol i was referring more to to Oblivion, sorry and not necessarily the environment or plot of a game but the feeling of immortality and action and excitement at no cost except pure enjoyment. that's all.
what i meant was i like gaming in general because its a great escape.
i should have been more clear. sorry.

Reverse Pickpocketing grenades or mines into people inventory kicks ass as well.
I am assuming that is what the "exploding pants" stat is referring to....

I have it for 360 as well, and have heard of something recently called Hex Editing.
I guess you can get software to edit some games, buy a transfer cable (only from microsoft, it's for trasfering files from hard drive to hard drive), and load the edited data into your XBOX.
I don't know much about it, but I guess you can't create new stuff, but you can replace any in-game item with any other in-game item.
Like switching a milk bottle with a Lincoln repeater, or a house wiith a bathtub.
