Satellites crashing into stars?

About 3 weeks ago I was looking up at the sky while fishing, and I saw a satellite that I started following. After about 5 seconds it just stopped (crashed, landed, hit a black hole?) at a very bright star that made the shape of a perfect pyramid with 2 other stars, this was the top point star. I don't know what happened, but it was weird and I thought I'd ask here, maybe someone saw the same thing.

I was watching a satellite, thought it was going to go right past this star and keep on going, but it stopped at the star. No flash or anything. If you've ever seen a satellite in the night sky, you know how fast they move.. this is how fast it was moving. A friend I told about it said he saw the same thing.
100% sober.

The closest star is about 4 light years away. Proxima Centauri

Perhaps after a certain point in the sky (the stars location coincidentally) the satellite no longer reflected light from the sun back to earth and was no longer visible?

Makes sense, as the star was almost directly over me.

...you could not be able to see a satellite that far away...
...few weeks ago, I saw something like a huge star (whole thing happened in 2 seconds), biggest in the sky at that point, expanding and then contrasting to a tiny dot, barley visible... have no idea what that could be... ..but I am a supporter of the UFO idea...

Yeah, I guarantee it was a UFO. Satellites move in an orbit and cannot stop. I've been seeing a lot of these types of UFOs lately.

i always see shooting stars when i look at a clear sky at night
the other night i saw one but the detail was amazing, it mustve been closer in the atmosphere as i could see it breaking up & the colours in the flames coming off it, it was incredible seeing it break up into absolutely nothing...
it wasn't like a pinpoint streak in the sky, it was like a fireball
ive also seen what looks like satelittes do uturns & move at different speeds

If it doesn't move, it's not a satellite. Twinkling stars are caused by atmospheric conditions.

From what I learned, only satellites twinkle... stars do not. But what I saw, it was not a satellites, because it only twinkled once, and it was a big one... so was it a super nova or nova, I dont know, but if it was, then I am a very lucky bastard to see it.. because chances are like none.

the twinkling is from disturbances in the atmosphere. so they both twinkle

theres alot of ufo activity in my area. recently theres been repeat occurances of something that looks like a plane flying super high(much higher than planes normally fly). it appears out of no where then lights up super bright, as bright as venus, then dims out, back to barely visible. then disappears again. this happens very quickly, all within a few seconds.
i've seen this happen several times in the last few weeks. i was telling my nephew about it last week while we were outside in my yard. as we're talking about it, another one appears right in front of us and does the same thing: appears in the middle of the clear sky, lights up super bright, dims out very quickly, then disappears.
has anybody else been seeing these?
