Amanita but which one?

So here are a few pics I have taken. Im wondering if anyone can tell from these pics if it is ver formosa or flavoconia. I know where there are hundreds, in Northern PA, and some are dinner plate sized some are only a few inches. Im leaning to flavoconia cuz of the redish center tapering out to yellows in the bigger ones. Its late in the season here for me to get more pics of the base and stalk but if I get some feedback I will try to get some more pics for this wonderful site. Also does anyone have experience ingesting these? inb4 all the don't eat poison, I do not plan on it or would I without an experienced sage mycologist having tried this exact patch. I'm just wondering how toxic/active flavoconia really is and or how tastey they are properly cooked.

I think this is the yellow form of Amanita amerimuscaria, but you are making it very difficult for us by not taking clear pictures of the base of the stem.
The thin stem argues in the direction of flavoconia, but the warts appear to be white.
Amanita flavoconia is edible and contains no drugs.

Yeah, i'd say Amanita amerimuscaria, but it would be nice to see clear pictures of the base.

Oh snap you kids are fast, this site is good ok will get more pics soon. Also what am I looking for to make sure? I sat down in the thick of the patch on what I can only assume is a huge area of these Mushrooms. The large shrooms have very thick stems (diameter > 1 inch). coniferous deciduous forest in a dark deep valley on the steep side late brief sun under mostly hemlock and white birch. Fruits heavy all June - July, early July being the peek. Warts Are bleach white dull a little when dried but still would be considered white.
I have some small dried ones i could take pic of but doubt it would do any better. sorry im new to this possibly post link to what base should/could look like I spent a good deal of time communing with this shroom and dug a few up unfortunately my camera was crap that day.
flavoconia is still full of toxins and needs to be blanched though right? and Amanita amerimuscaria needs dried and even then has a body load right?
Thanks for the responses I can tell this is the right place and so will dump pics of my finds as they occur for you all to enjoy, today I found a random panther not even gonna play with it, may post pic later they didnt turn out very well.

oh and also I can be pretty sure its Amanita amerimuscaria or Amanita flavoconia Right? and is the spore print necessary or can I be mostly certain from caps and base if I come with more and better pics?
Again Im not looking to eat or mess with them really but I visit this patch every year and would like the 99% confidence as I have cataloged most species in this area already.
Im a river guide and having BS to talk about makes me $$$ in tips and im a nature nut to begin with.
Thanks again

Concentric rings around the base of the stem. A. flavoconia has more of a collar around the bulge at the base of the stem.

I used to think that, but at least one person has successfully eaten it.

Yes.

Yes it appears to be one of those two. Almost certainly amerimuscaria due to the thick stem.
Spore print is not necessary because we can see that its an Amanita so we know it will be white.

Excellent. If they seem cool and have lots of questions about the mushrooms you can tell them about the shroomery hunting forum.

They vary in color the center seems darker and red-er and the outer region is lighter and becoming yellow, Most are more yellow than orange and only some centers have the darker red color, larger caps seem to be lighter yellow overall and small caps don't seem to have much of the darker red center. I am positive it is the exact same fungus (10-30 ft radius continuously fruiting annually for > 4 yrs "the spot") as the original post but in a fruiting period 1-3 weeks earlier. They are also scattered throughout that area of forest but it is definitely a sweet spot deeply infected and a frequent stop on my quests.
