ID Request, Northeastern South Carolina
    #10725492 - 07/23/09 06:01 AM (14 years, 8 months ago)

Habitat:
Northeastern South Carolina, in cow pasture near tree line. Shrooms small usually clustered and always right on the dung.

Gills:
Gills attached, blue/grayish

Stem:
1.5in tall average, 1/16in, blue/grayish, smooth, stems are hollow, very thin stems, I do believe they are button stage fungi but I am not sure of this.

Cap:
1/4in, blue/grayish with a brown spot top center, smooth to the touch, they look like if I cut cap in half I could fold it like an acordian it would look like /\/\/\/ if i bent the half flat, conical, bell shaped cap

Spore print color:
it would appear to be black

Bruising:
it would appear they bruise black.

You have a coprinoid, possibly a Parasola.
