anyone go to peru or anywhere to do a guided ceremony by shaman?

if so where did u go and was it worth it?

I've spoken with a couple of people who have participated in huasca ceremonies in Peru, and both generally had positive things to say about the experience. I've read elsewhere that most ceremonies are somewhat hackneyed touristy things, but who knows.

I'll be in Peru in a couple months (eek! the date approaches!), so this question is certainly relevant to my interests. Based on what I've heard, I don't think I'd go to Peru *just* to use ayahuasca, but if you're gonna be there anyway...
