 My First Grow - Golden Teachers

This is my first ever grow. I did it in a martha style greenhouse with a coolmist and ultrasonic humidifier. Spawned in rye jars, then cased with coir and vermiculite at 2:1 respectively. I'm not sure the weight of them yet, but I think it went pretty good. How big are golden teachers typically in terms of height? These average about 3-4'' tall, and caps 1'' to 1 1/2'' in diameter.

1st Grow ..... you tackled a martha greenhouse w/ coolmists and ultrasonics, grain and bulk substrates .... and kicked ass.

I recently tried my GT's, and was impressed. I've always bought my mushrooms, but these were great. I am happy everything worked out well. Next is some Penis Envies, and Keepers Creepers. And after that, Orrisa India, and Argentinas, and maybe try some Pan Floridas if everything is going good.

Dude I'm fucking jealous I like you went nearly straight to the Martha. But the thing is it's taken me nearly 9 months to nail down that kinda flush. I would like to know how much research did you do before you got started. And also what did you use for your spawn and substrate. Oh ya NICE FRICKING JOB MAN!!!

I did quite a bit of research before i started. And like i said, i spawned on rye grain, and cased with Coir:Vermiculite, 2:1. When i started fruiting, I had them under daylight flourescents for 14 hours a day. My coolmist was running 24/7, with an added reservoir so i didn't have to worry about it, and the ultrasonic was on 10 mins every hour and a half. My ultrasonic is adjustable, so i just turned it up or down to dial in my humidity. I kept my temperature at 77, with the help of a bathroom space heater. Here's some pics of my setup, check it out.
