Alltel LG Voyager?

I have a LG Voyager that I love. However, in a series of unfortunate events, I am flat broke. I just got on with Alltel's pre pay plan but I got only this little black piece of crap phone. Does anyone know the steps or can link me a site with the steps to reprogram my voyager to be used on the alltel network. I have a buddy that is the manager of a very small local wireless network and when the iPhone first came out he got it and reprogrammed it to his network. Thanks!

Just take the sim card out of your crappy phone and put it in your LG. If it doesn't have a sim card, then you must be on CDMA and there's nothing you can do. Blame America's terrible mobile phone market :shrug:
